What did I enjoy the most?
I enjoyed being able to take inspiration from one of my favorite artists and explore their unique style. It was exciting to experiment with new techniques while incorporating elements that resonate with my own artistic interests.
What did I not enjoy the most?
While the learning process was valuable, I found certain aspects challenging, especially when trying to apply new composition rules and techniques. It was sometimes frustrating to push beyond my comfort zone, but I recognize it as a necessary part of growth but I did enjoy it.
What have I learned about myself through this module?
I’ve realized that I still have a long way to go in developing my skills and understanding design principles. This module has shown me how much there is to learn and improve upon, which is both humbling and motivating.
What has changed and what has not in my learning journey?
My appreciation for abstract art has grown. I find myself enjoying it more than I did before. However, one thing that hasn’t changed is my struggle with defining a set art style. I still feel like I’m exploring different directions with my work.
What are my aspirations?
My goal is to continue improving my skills and refining my art. I want to reach a point where I feel genuinely proud of my finalized artworks, knowing that they reflect my growth and creativity.
