Theme: 

SELF-TITLED

Self-titled is an exploration project for the students to express their own individuality and reflect their personality into digital art self-expression. 

The main idea is to build up self-confidence and discover their interest.

PART 1: IDEA DEVELOPMENT (WEEK 10)

1. Write a biography about yourself

INTRO	My name is Ayah, and I’m a 20-year-old artist from Muscat, Oman.
PARAGRAPH 1	My passion for art began at a young age. I was especially drawn to writing, performing, and drawing. For a while, I became very focused on animation styles I admired, so much so that my art teachers told me off for fixating too much on one particular style. However, I didn’t let that hold me back.
PARAGRAPH 2	In 10th grade, I earned an A in IGCSE Art. Although I initially planned to study Psychology, I ultimately chose to major in Art.
SUMMARY	Art means a lot to me; it provides comfort and serves as a safe outlet for expressing my feelings and thoughts.

2. Write a statement about your work

INTRO	My artistic interests focus on collage, portraiture, and the use of bold, vibrant colors to create visually striking compositions.
PARAGRAPH 1	One of my recent projects was the "Renewal of Life" Magic Lockscreen, which I created for Honor's competition. This piece reflects my exploration of themes related to life and vitality.
PARAGRAPH 2	The name I came up with for the competition was "Life’s Charge," which inspired me to delve into the energy and strength inherent in living things.
SUMMARY	Through my work, I aim to express the resilience and perseverance of life, symbolized by plants that continue to grow and thrive even in the harshest environments and the most unexpected places. My art celebrates how life always finds a way to sustain and renew itself, no matter the circumstances.
